Author Guidelines

Researchers submitting manuscripts to the Computer Engineering and Applications (JCEA) are requested to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the quality and uniformity of all published papers.

Submission and Publication Process

1. Manuscript Preparation
   Prepare your paper using the journal’s standard format. Each manuscript should include: Abstract, Introduction, Related Work, Research Methods, Results, Conclusion, and References. A sample template is available for download.
2. Submission
   Submit your completed manuscript via the Editor’s official email address. An acknowledgment email will be sent upon receipt.
3. Editorial Screening
   The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to verify the submission’s relevance, formatting accuracy, and adherence to ethical standards.
4. Double-Blind Peer Review
   Submissions meeting initial criteria proceed to double-blind peer review. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts against ten quality parameters and provide one of the following decisions: Accepted, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Rejected.
5. Review Criteria (10 Evaluation Points)
   Each manuscript is assessed based on:
   • Relevance of Title and Research Content
   • Academic Quality and Scholarly Rigor
   • Logical Flow and Organization
   • Conceptual and Theoretical Foundation
   • Novelty and Research Contribution
   • Technical Soundness
   • Clarity of Presentation and Figures
   • Depth of Analysis and Discussion
   • Quality and Relevance of References
   • Strength and Clarity of Conclusions
6. Decision Notification
   Authors are informed of the review outcome via email within 1–7 business days after the peer review.
7. Acceptance and Publication Formalities
   Accepted authors will be required to:
   • Pay the applicable publication fee (proof of payment required)
   • Complete and submit the Copyright Permission Form
   • Complete and submit the Registration Form
   The editorial team verifies these materials prior to publication.
8. Final Publication
   Accepted papers are published online within one to two days after verification. Authors receive an official e-certificate of publication via email.
